ExCEL Award Celebration

On May 10th, WHAS-11 TV honored New Washington Middle/High School English/radio/television teacher Bill Jones as the 2017 ExCEL Award winner for Greater Clark County Schools. WHAS-11’s Gary Roedemeier was on hand to present Bill with the famous gold apple and a $1,000 teacher grant, sponsored by LG&E KU, to use for use in Bill’s classroom. Bill earned his Bachelor of …

Boys Basketball Semi-State Information

The New Washington High School (20-9) boys basketball team will play Tindley High School (22-5) in the IHSAA Class A Semi-State in Richmond, Indiana at the Tiernan Center this Saturday. Game time is set for 4pm ET, doors open at 3pm. Tickets will be available at the school’s pep rally tonight at 7:45pm and tomorrow until noon. Tickets will also be …
